We are a specialist care home situated in a quiet semi-rural village near to the market town of Brigg in North Lincolnshire. We support our residents to be as independent as possible and to gain skills and strategies to help them live with or overcome the challenges posed by their illness or condition.

We provide a range of flexible support options enabling residents to stay with us long term or as part of a short-term "step down" pathway and in addition we also provide a small respite service and are currently developing day care services. We work in a person centred way and are currently implementing positive behaviour support as our primary model of care.
Candidates should have a flexible approach to working hours as this important role consists of both day and night shifts.
Successful candidates will:

Regularly review risk factors and work in conjunction with other health professionals to modify care and support plans as appropriate.
Act as the primary nurse on shift.
Ensure that clinical practice is evidenced based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and the organisations policies and procedures.
Undertake clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice.
Act as a mentor to preceptor nurses/students/support workers as appropriate.
Supervise care staff in carrying out their duties.
Liaise effectively with all those actively involved in the care process, including carers and relatives.
