About The Role

£10.01 to £10.31 per hour dependent on experience - Full or Part Time Positions Available

We have amazing opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our wonderful team at Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, where we specialise in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care.  Hothfield is set within the 12 acre grounds of a manor house, so the setting are almost as amazing as our team!

You will be part of a fantastic, caring and highly motivated team who are committed to offering you the guidance, support and training you need to thrive in your role. Providing plenty of opportunities to participate in the development of the centre so we can provide the best support possible!

Our Shifts:

Part Time - 2 x 12 hour shifts per week
Full Time - 7 x 13 hour shifts over a 4 week period, which averages 36 hours per week

As a Healthcare Assistants you will:

  • Be empathetic and have a desire to make a difference

  • Be involved in maintaining and developing a high standard of the care by being aware of individual needs and care programmes
  • Supporting the senior team in the running of the shift, whilst showing warmth and support to our patients/residents and their families
  • Promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care
  • Help in providing an environment which is helpful to people with needs, realising their potential to live as independently as they can
  • Providing practical assistance to the resident/patient, where needed in carrying out everyday living tasks
  • Being actively involved with the day to day routine in both individual and group activities
