About The Role

Rota and Training Co-ordinator

Salary: £18,174 - £19,286 (Grade 3)

Permanent – Full Time post – 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri (out of hours working may be required)

A great new opportunity is now available at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration and engagement with Nursing and Clinical staff, communicating with staff members on rota matters, training and resources. You will help the team work together well and efficiently to provide high quality care for our patients.

In this role you will

  • Work closely with the Nursing Managers, Lead Therapists and Hospital Director
  • Proactively ensure the rota is resourced and move resources appropriately
  • Daily reporting of rota fill
  • Preparation for daily meetings regarding rota fill and staffing numbers
  • Set up new employees and manage any swaps, short term absences and cancelled shifts
  • Be responsible for booking and inviting staff to training courses
  • Monitor E Learning and ensure staff compliance

About You

You will have

  • Educated to A level with GCSE Maths and English
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills with attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and experience of the rota system or willingness to learn
  • Strong Excel and Reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage staff requests
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong people skills with integrity and discretion

About The Company

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Huntercombe Group, is a modern independent hospital run in partnership with the NHS (North Bristol NHS Trust).  It provides an inpatient Level 1 intensive brain injury rehabilitation service (29 NHS England funded beds) for the South West of England.  We have recently expanded from 29 to 52 rehabilitation beds.  Our new service offers both Level 1 and Level 2 specialist rehabilitation for patients with acquired and traumatic brain injury in a brand new, purpose built environment.

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre provides a vitally important, high quality service; delivering acute in-patient neuro rehabilitation care and therapy to patients. As a highly successful and renowned service with a good CQC report, we provide an accredited service with excellent outcome measures. Our service offers a supportive, enjoyable, team-based culture.
